Life Inc – distributors

Please support this work by purchasing Life Inc. from your favorite bookseller. If you can’t afford it, you should be able to get it at your local library. If they don’t have it, go to the information desk and ask for an “interlibrary loan.” That’s still free, and should only take a couple of days for them to locate the book.

I’m also making as many of the ideas available through movies, essays, articles, and talks. But a purchase really does help me, the book, and the spread of these strategies. It’s both an exchange of value, and evidence to media and policymakers that people care.

IndieBound – buy the book online or in real life through a local bookseller. This website makes it easy.

I saw your appearance on The Colbert Report and thought you were fantastic.

I would love to have your book so that I can read it and then donate it to my library which doesn’t have it. Will recommend it to my library’s nonfiction book club also.

Thanks Seena. If you just can’t get them to buy it and don’t want to donate your own, let me know and I’ll mail a copy myself.

Hey,
I noticed that you said you would send a copy to people who couldn’t buy one. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send a copy of Life Inc to the Olympia Timberland Library in Olympia, WA. I would love to read this book, and understand further the overall structure of corporate America, but being only 15, i’m not exactly strapped with cash.

If you can, it would be greatly appreciated.

Two things, Lee:

First, your library already has the book. I just checked the card catalog online, and it’s in your system at two libraries.

Second, if you want an electronic copy, just email me and I’ll send you one that way.

I just checked, and sadly, my local library (Tompkins County Public Library, Ithaca, NY) doesn’t have a copy. Between the chunks on BoingBoing on the interview with Colbert, I’m really itching to get deeper into the material.

just wanted to be someone to comment who bought the book and is not requesting anything! thank you for your work and your service…

here’s to a new reality!

onward and forward,
Otis

Just heard you on NPR. Wondering if you could send me a copy– even an e-copy– so I can use this with my high school students! Once I can access more of the budget down the road, I’ll gladly order a class set.

Thanks,
John K.

Lord bring us home again where we belong.
Let our homes again be a sanctuary where You can be worshiped and where we can minister to one another. Let not our homes be just places we go to eat, sleep and change our clothes but the center of our lives where we can keep our eyes firmly fixed on You. Let our homes be used as a refuge for our families and for the lost and hurting to be brought to where they can be filled with Your love and receive Your grace; so they can hear the truth about who You are and who they can be with You in their lives.
Bring us home and help us let go of worldy things; lifestyles that have been a poor and often destructive substitute for the living water and the new life You offer us instead. Please help us to begin our walk with You in our own homes lest we be tempted to focus instead on anything else first; even our church. Bring us back to our neighborhoods, our communitities; to those that are hurting next door, down the street and help us to resisit the temptation to stay secluded in our church with those who think, talk and look like us.
Help us to reach out to those beyond our comfort zone and give us courage to speak the truth in love to whomever we meet.

I just bought both Life Inc. and Coercion at a discount with free shipping for only $33.51. I can’t wait to read both. I was referred here by –http://www.notmygovernment.us/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1252559546
