CLUB ZERO-G
Club Zer0-G, Rushkoff’s first graphic novel with art by Steph Dumais was published in Spring 2004 by Disinformation. There are some nice interviews and articles online – like this one with Comic Book Resources, this one at Newsarama, or this one at Baker’s Dozen as well some great blog response at places like Media-Underground and Key64. Of course, die-hard Matrix fans see any attempt at consensual alternative reality as a rip-off of their formative movie experience – as did this rather angry fellow from Comic Book Journal, who awarded Club Zero-G Worst Book of the Year. I think that’s a pretty awesome achievement for one’s very first comic book – and it convinced me I was on the right track.
